Chitika has announced that that their effort to bring CPM banners to their network of publishers and blog writers (bloggers) is live.
"the results are excellent as we have seen an immediate increase in revenue across the board," said the ad network's statement.
Your author is a blogger and magazine publisher using Chitika but I've yet to see any revenue attributable to the new CPM advertising inventory.

Google's AdSense unit rolled out a wider beta invitation of the Ad Review Center. Apparently we qualified and took it for a spin.
While a big step up from zero in-account ad review capabilities, the execution, as is common with Google and especially the AdSense and AdWords departments, fails in several key areas.

Thanks to firms like YouTube and ClipSyndicate, video clips as web content delivered over the internet have finally reached a quality and quantity such that advertisers are taking the medium seriously.
Well, perhaps quality is debatable when it comes to some popular videos on YouTube, but the most viewed clips on that Google property are watched tens of millions of times. And not surprisingly, those eyeballs are for sale.

I've written about the GooglePages spam problem before and now we can see how the "Don't Be Evil" Google hypocrite continues
in their abuse of net users by allowing their spam problem to continue through Blogger BlogSpot spam.
Yet again there is a Google property URI in e-mail spams bouncing off our server: blogspot.com (from Blogger.com account pages).
