Spammer Alan Soloway Pleads Guilty To E-Mail Spam |

Published reports state that infamous spammer Robert Alan Soloway, the so-called "spam king," has plead guilty to charges related to spamming operations and his alleged ill-gotten gains.
Charges include wire and mail fraud, as well as failure to file a tax return. Arrested in the summer of 2007, he faced a 40 count indictment from the Federal Government tied to the operation of Newport Internet Marketing.
Among the possible penalties he faces is as many as 20 years in jail.
